This hotel is situated in a prime location alongside a major road that runs through the vibrant waterfront and Izumo-Taisha shrine area, making it ideal for tourists exploring the city. the hotel's on-site terminal downstairs provides easy access to the town's transit system, perfect staying for a few days. the hotel offers unparalleled views of the sightseeing sites in the city.
The hotel's cramped rooms are uncomfortable to stay in for long periods.

excellent location with easy access to main sightseeing spots - kind and helpful staff, but Japanese is required to communicate with them
the hotel was old, the room was very stuffy and the bathroom not very clean. the bed sheets were worn and permanently stained the in-house spa had a nice view on the lake (and the traffic), but was not as clean as you would expect from a public facility in Japan taking into account these shortcomings, the price is too high for what you get - other hotels in same price category in major cities across Chugoku offer far better value, larger rooms with better and very clean facilities our advice: only book this hotel when you have no other options

I loved my stay in this hotel. The location is excellent; I could easily walk to restaurants, historic sites, and beautiful Lake Shinji. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and they provided a shuttle to the station. The clean and spacious room had a fantastic view of the lake, and the onsen was relaxing. Additionally, I enjoyed the convenience of having a convenience store downstairs.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I booked my stay at the hotel because it was the only one I could find with availability for the nights I was staying in Matsue. However, I really liked the hotel. My room was great (I had a view of the lake) and the hotel is located in a good spot, easy to reach both trains stations and the tourist buses. I also really liked the hotel restaurant a lot. The hotel definitely added to my enjoyable stay in Matsue.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great variety of Japanese and Western food. the view from the breakfast room of the nearby lake was stunning - certainly the best way to start the day. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to public transportation and beautiful landmarks just a short walk away.

We could walk to see the sunset on Lake Shinji, and the onsen was right in the hotel. We could also walk to a wide range of shopping, dining, and cultural sites in Matsue. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was small but comfortable, and we were glad that we could easily adjust the air conditioning. The lobby offered a range of brochures about local attractions and events, and many of these were in English. The shuttle to the station was also very helpful to us.
The bathroom was clean, and the shower and toilet worked fine. But it was so small that I felt a little claustrophobic in there. That's not a reason to deter anyone from staying there, but people may want to anticipate this very small size.

The hotel's location was definitely the highlight of our Christmas stay. We were able to walk to most of the tourist spots and the public transport options were easily accessible. The onsen was also a good experience to have. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even though we had some trouble communicating in English.
The hotel itself didn't live up to our expectations. The room was small and its cleanliness was questionable.
